A STUDY OF 1 JOHN
Written to the people of the congregations by a pastor who loved his flock dearly. The letter was sent out to the various churches over which he has charge. The letter was written in Ephesus (Probably around 85-90 A.D.; before he was exiled to the Isle of Patmos).
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jer 29:11)
